Chemical Controls Ltd., of which Datach Technologies is its software solutions department, boasts a decennial experience in the very complex field of risk evaluation and emergency response planning both inside and outside port environments. The main activities of Chemical Controls Ltd. have always been focussed on the development and implementation of a security system that would allow a reliable and constant monitoring of structures and processes in order to prevent and to stem unplanned incidents. The company’s mission implied the formation of a professional team of IT experts that subsequently founded an exclusive department, branded, indeed, as Datach Technologies, committed to the development of specific software solutions for port operators and authorities.

HACPACK© is a modular software solution that allows a real-time risk evaluation in relation to the wide range of handling and storage operations of dangerous goods. HACPACK© is made up of five different modules: HACPACK Maritime Agencies, HACPACK Terminals, HACPACK SCP, HACPACK Port Authority and HACPACK AIS.

HACPACK© is already active in major Italian harbour realities such as Genoa, Gioa Tauro, La Spezia, Livorno, Savona, Taranto and Civitavecchia as well as in minor, but not less important, ports such as Salerno, Piombino, Marina di Carrara and Porto Ferraio. The continuous monitoring process of every port activity involved in the handling of dangerous goods allows a remarkable improvement of the port’s safety and security and consents an immediate response by the relevant authorities thanks to a quick and reliable data exchange in case of an emergency situation.
